Greetings Cannabrothers and sisters...
Total newbie here...wanted to say hello. I am not an experienced grower...yet. I smoked very regularly for many years and for other reasons stopped in 1997. I rediscovered my love for the tree of knowledge in Nov 2009. After emerging from my 'plastic life cocoon', I awoke to find myself paying $60 for the same quantity that I would have paid no more than $25 for when I smoked before. Now don't get me wrong, I am not bitching, I understand economics and also appreciate the extremely obvious substantial increase in quality over the past 13 years as well. BUT, with all that said and with the new technologies and micro grow techniques I am very soon starting my own garden in a small grow cab.
Just wondering if anybody cared to discuss what the REAL chances of getting busted are these days with CFL's and only 4 small plants. Too be honest I am of the opinion that unless I tell anyone other than God about my garden, the chances of the police getting involved are of lottery winning odds. Anyone have any thoughts? :S5:

it depends on so many things... like what I recently learned with my 4 small plants. There is an appreciable smell that these guys throw off. It was something that I needed to deal with quickly and effectively, or the grow was in danger... even if only slightly. Be careful. Welcome to the board too! :thumbsup:

:greenthumb: Welcome! I really like that quote, sums it up well. it is human nature to ignore prohibition.
that said, be very careful depending on where you are. its 2 years to life here in Oklahoma for growing even one plant. :eek: crazy but true. stealth is the key but your still risking a hellofa lot in some places. I have grown here before but personally I am waiting until I can get back in friendly territory before I get back to gardening.
