Bell Pepper Meat Sauce
1 dutch Oven size pot
3 Large Bell Peppers (I use one green, one red, and one yellow)
2 large cans Italian Style Crushed tomatoes with Basil and Oregano
2 lbs lean ground beef
1 can Tomato Paste
8 good sized cloves of garlic finely chopped or to taste
1 shaker oregano
optional: 1/8 - 1/4 oz hash powder
Slice and dice the bell peppers chunky. Brown ground beef. Add to the cans of crushed tomatoes. Add garlic, tomato paste, and cover the top of everything with a layer of oregano and add your optional ingredients. Stir and simmer on low heat for 3-4 hours, add water as needed as it cooks off and thickens.
Top your choice of pasta and voila!! :D
Makes enough to last one person more then a week.
