Just wanted to ask that if someone says 'hello' or greets newcomers is that considered trying to run up one's post count? On a couple of other boards I have been on they would not count the 'welcomes' into a post count.
Reason I ask is that as a newbie here myself, I would just like to extend out a friendly hand to those that join after I have.
What the consensus on this guys/gals?

Naw, welcome away! to me it just shows that your friendly. :jointsmile: everyone should welcome the newbies to the board, this board could use some new life. its just about dead in the water. :D

funny i feel like a duck saying welcome to ppl.
a noise in the back ground.
must do my own intro someday.
if nothing to say, dont talk for the hell of it.
but i think we should try and say hello to every1 that comes on board.
feels better when ppl say high to ya when ya join

why would we worry bout post counts?
