Sensible Washington is gearing up for an end to prohibition in 2011
Volunteer meetings are being posted on SW's Facebook site as well as the website: www.sensiblewashington.org
If you are already signed up, keep an eye out for meetings in your area. You can also volunteer through the website, as well as donate.
There is already a billboard up in Fife, and we are hoping to see more!
It's way past time being patient with the politicians and police. Let's put an end to it this year!

You can sign up right from the website! It's really easy, just go to Volunteer HQ tab and fill in the blanks. If you have any problems, let me know and I can get the Webmaster's help.

Once I see the actual initiative I will make a monetary donation in the name of the non-profit I'm reactivating. Too much hanky panky going on so until I see what they are going to present, I'm gonna wait and see. There is still this issue of someone registering sensiblewashington.com or whatever, and some other things. I don't want people playing both sides of the issue hedging their shall we say bets. Its either in or out as far as I see it, and I will have paid to play by activating my non-profit. I can deal with a separation of medical and recreational and support both sides of that coin. :D

I might add, I made my bones long before many in the movement today and I will get my portion of the pie and aid others getting theirs too. :lol5:

It's my understanding that the intitiative has not changed, except for a line at the bottom some Dep't. of Bureaucracy required. It has been submitted, so we are waiting on approval and number assignation. It should be available as soon as we hear from the powers-that-be. Sorry I don't remember the names of the agencies right now, I'm having a rest day.
I know you were out on the street campaigning last year Gypski, and you and LegalizeItGirl worked together some. Are you able or willing again this year? I would like to get out if I can, but I'm not comfortable standing out alone. It would be nice to get a couple of groups together, and it's usually more fun.
I understand on the waiting on your donation, heck I bought a sign for someone who wanted to display it at their business, and I figure that's contributing too. I'm not able to stand long enough to hold a sign yet, but I'm getting there and my sign is ready!
Whatever you can do, it's all appreciated! We can do this! :rasta:

That could be a possibility so get back to me when the action begins. And if you are interested about my co-op contact me through my web site e-mail or if you know anyone. I'd like a patient or others who would have the time to apply for consideration to be on the board who has a squeaky clean record. And it would be a voting position.

As long as I can keep my momentum, I will keep going. I just can't promise if it will last, or how long, but I'm excited to be a part of changing history.
Sounds like SW is getting a new billboard. That's all I know for now, except that they are not cheap! WOOHOO!!!! It takes a few weeks to produce and install, can't wait to see where they put it and what it says!
