I fixed the YLOD

my ps3 YLOD about a month ago and I fixed it today, I got off for the holiday only 3-4 days but now i got some gamer action goin on.

YOLD= Yellow Light Of Death

same as the red light of death on the xbox (somewhat)

I had to do what is called a reflow and it was a pain it was my first reflow and it took about 13 hours lol, but now I saved 399.99 and all my data is back too. purty sweet. I actully had to reflow 2 times and and rethermo 3 times, was not easy especialy since it was my first.

Has anyone every reflowed theri x box or ps3? it is a process where you are re soldering the mother board, caused buy heat degredation the reflow fixes the ps3, and xbox.

now it is easy for me, but dam what a pain

yelod is a dead PS3; other wise I paid 499.99 about 3 years ago so I dont need no dead junk.

hope it holds out I hear if done right it last a while again. I used the best stuff for the job, so im hoping it works another 3 years or more.
