amanita muscaria extract

Has anyone tried the amanita extract? I've always shied away from the actual amanita 'shroom cuz of stories of poisoning n shit. But on the flip side, isn't amamanita supposed to be the SOMA of the RG VEDA the sacred texts of India? In any sense, anyone have any positive/negative experiences from the extract that is available?

It's a mushroom but NOT a psilocybin mushroom, in other words it is not PSILOCYBIN nut MUSCIMOL which induces the trip. I dont many people who have heard of it OR had experience with it either. anybody anybody LOL?

You won't get poisoned. I've taken it twice. I've split a pound of em dried among abuncha friends. Amanita Muscaria have shown no evidence of liver damage only their relatives.

Just don't take too many. I've had the worst trip I've ever had on those. Couldn't stop vomitting and kept getting lost in my own head thinking I was dead or becoming someone else. Amanita's are 10x more intense then psilocybin mushrooms.. but they are way more unpredictable. I'll never touch those fuckers again. ;)

Thanks for the advice man. Yeah I always pussed out when it came to amanita, even in my crazy reckless "i don't give a fuck days" from all the stories i heard about poisoning and psychosis, etc. I saw a site, I amshaman i believe, that seels 1 g of resin or extract. noww being that it is not the actual mushroom, what is your take on eating, or smoking a gram, of pure amanita? I am fully aware that the trip is NOT like psilocybin, but have you any experiences with the extract? my idea is it would be pretty damn strong. any other advice I'd appreciate.

come to think of it after reading your post...i might just SKIP em! Hahaha! the worst trip ya ever had huh? According to everyone's favorite site erowid, an average dose is in the range of1-5g's, now that is an approximation of course. What I'm looking at is a GRAM of EXTRACT so hmm that could equal god knows how much i'm not the scientific type! LOL It could been you took too much, or just that the trip induces a psychosis unlike those of psilocybin, hmmm i am skeptical now.

I don't think the dose for amanita muscaria is 1-5 grams. Smoking the extract would be damn cool. But, your lungs would throw a shit fit. Amanita's make for just a 'stoned' feeling when you smoke em. I bet extract might be even moreso, or less needed for effects. Most people take between like 15 and 30 grams dried. So I don't know what extract number the amanita extract is, but if you just want to eat it, it should probably be 15x+.

Anyway, if you do decide to skip em, get some HB Woodrose. They rock large amounts of rockingness, and are legal. Just don't get em from Iamshaman, their's are duds.
