Make sure the rescue mission will accept your donations. Our local Fresno Rescue Mission said they would not because we were associated with MMJ. Sorry to post in the Co thread, but just wanted to throw that in because I think this is an awesome idea(helping others) and my local collective has been doing it. We just have to distribute donations on our own.
If they won't, there is a local cafe here in the Highlands accepting food donations. Last year they fed over 200 families.

Awesome! Our local shelter is faith-based and said they disagree with our lifestyle and think it would be a conflict of interest. Understandable, I guess. They also refused warming items and we were told they discourage giving warming items to the homeless because it would make them too comfortable and then they wouldn't come to the shelter.Quote:
