Shorter than a bic starting its 5th & 6th nodes
The goal of this grow is to grow a plant under a foot that yeilds about 8 grams in under 90 days. This lil girl is a test run before I do a SoG of sorts.
It's finishing up its 4th node today, 5th node has devoloped and now just needs to grow and the beggining the 6th set of leafs is visible. Its only two inches tall maybe.
Opinions?

Do you know the strain? A pure indica type would be short and bushy like this. It looks nice and healthy. I did notice the ends of the leaves are doing a rams horn. Are you nuting it? If so, I would lay off them for a while. A rams horn leaf is an indication of too much (N)itrogen. Also, you can always pull the light away a bit more if you are wanting to stretch it a bit. Type of soil? pH level in / out of pot?

I didn't say the soil and lighting at first because of people judge your plant based on yourr setup half the time w/o really looking at the plant.
She was under a little of 100w of half daylight and half soft white CFLs but I took off one of the soft white CFLs on saturday. She is grown in MG Moisture control. I am full aware of the problems people have with this soil because its time released nutes. What I figured was this was a test grow and if I can accomplish what I want in MG soil, it will only be better when I start my real setup, you feel me?
I had a bag of seeds lets say 100 seeds 95 of them were from mexican brick and 5 of them were bagseed from some chronic
So chances are shes actually almost a pure sativa. I guess if purple starts showing on the leafs I'm wrong :P

That plant looks nothing like a sativa at this point, looks pure indica to me.
Just don't add nutes to MG and hope you don't get a hot spot in the mix.

You know I wouldn't mind if she was pure indica :) I was looking at mexican sativa strains and they have much larger leaf patterns. Although Ive heard in the 80's the cartels in mexico crossbred indica into the native strains for the quicker growth quality. Maybe its a phenotype (thats the word I mean right?) that shows its indica heritage.
there is a lil nute burn on the first set of leafs and a small amount of light burn on the second but Ive pulled the lights from an inch away to about four inches away. Ive already noticed it growing a lil taller.
Would it be safe to trim off the first set of leafs? they arent looking pretty and they are only single leafs like... what do they call em fan leafs?
