Is it wise to wait for alternating nodes as a sign to flower or is a 16inch tall and healthy plant a good enough reason?
The alt/nodes is a sign of sexual maturity. If you flip before the plant is sexually mature, she won't go into flower right away. She'll continue to veg until maturity, under the 12/12 schedule.Quote:

Once you go into 12/12 flowering cycle the root system does not grow much any more. If you start flowering with a root system, that has not fully developed in the current pot?...it will not develop to it's full potential....IMO.
