First grow

This is my first grow, these plants are bagseed and have had a stressful life but some are still doing pretty strong.
Light distance - will be lowered just a tad when my adjustable light hangers arrive in the mail

Im learning and adding stuff as I go. Got some temperature/humidity gauges yesterday which let me know I needed to up the humidity. From 40% its now 52%, temperatures are just under 80 at about 78. The plants seem very comfortable.

These though are my real stars - my chronic sprouts! Just transplanted today into Fox farms ocean mix

Thats a good thing putting water under the fan. You can even add a wider cup there since you have a big fan.
More information about your setup will make your log much interesting i think.
Plants look just fine. Keep going. :thumbsup:

I usually re-pot them when they start 3rd leaf sets. They grow healthier and bushier. Yours have just a little soil in there. Either add some soil to the bottom or re-pot.

Thanks, Ill get that done right away tomorow. Ive been putting off transplating them because I want to make sure I get the strongest plants since I wont have room to transplant all of them. Most all look healthy so it will be a hard choice.

Was homeall day... didnt raise the light because they looked far enough away. Well I get home to install my new real light hangers (instead of clotheshangers, lol) and notice a little burn on my biggest guy. I went to touch the leaf and it was so dry it crumbled right off. Is there anything I can do to ensure this is not his demise?

Transplanted some guys into bigger pots. I had no idea they were so root locked. All the plants must be. Might be why some other plants are showing some strange symptoms - leaves curling in, under, looking like claws, some strange yellowing... the roots were all around the basin of the cup, some were even sticking through the perforations I made in the cup to let soil drain. I loosely knocked off as much miracle gro as I could and planted them in their new pots. I should have planted them higher in the pots though. I will probably just be keeping whichever of these are best, as mother plants. If not they will need one more transplanting into bigger pots.

Youll notice I didnt water the big guy who has been in the big green pot for awhile. Thats because I watered him yesterday, I am going to probably water all 4 big ones tomorow a moderate amount and get them on the same watering cycle. After transplanted I watered until it poured through the bottom of the pot

You will notice a lot of terracing, thats so I can allow the shorter plants and larger plants to live off the same light without stretching or burning ( :RAAAAA: )

There are some reasons for that. One is soil stays dry on top and wet on bottom, all the roots go there. This is very common in this size of pots. Since you have bigger pots you shouldn't water often. And make sure the soil is equally humid.

Yes you should planted higher. You don't need that much empty spaces on top. Just 2 cm is enough. I even go with 1 cm. Higher is better. They roots go deeper, so you need more height in soil.

Its too early to decide about mother plants since you have many. When i grow like this first big plants were always turned to male.
For flowering yes you'll need one more transplant. This is exactly what i do. First i germinate them in small pots then transfer to bigs like yours. After sexing i am transplanting in to final size and switching the light schedule.

In the end you're ok. Keep going :thumbsup:

Hey so I think I have a boron defficiency...

Not my picture but I am getting some brown spots on my leaves that look identical to that. I thought it was Tobacco Mosaic Virus initially, because I had some showing particularly bad browning/rust looking leaves. Now it just looks like in that picture. Worried its still TMV, I am isolating the plant, but what do I do for a boron defficiency?
