Could you guys peep this for me. I am new to the indoor game and noticed my top nug has a brown spot starting or is it turning purp? It is a Grand Daddy Purple at bout 6 weeks of flower. Just want to catch a problem early if there is one. THANKS VERY MUCH. OH forgot leaves have been turning yellow with brown spots and dying the last few days at very rapid rate!

here is a better photo of the brown spot. It was barley discolored in the morning and by the end of it`s 12 hour cycle almost the whole, I think it`s a pistol right was discolored. Scared to see what it`s going to look like in the morning. Soil PH is 6.7 right now. Fox Farm nutes big bloom and tiger bloom.
Well my first opinion is you are about to the end of the grow. Showing signs of root bound, a tiny N deficiency (don't freak, I consider it normal at this point), maybe a little. lockout.
Fill out the trouble shooting form for sure, but, I suggest you just start the flush, expect will be done in 2 weeks or less. Looks pretty yummy. No more nutes at all.
The only thing you really need to worry about at this point is mold. Mold can completely ruin a whole yeild in less that a week. As long as your plant is still healthy you don't have to worry just avoid : (1) Overwatering, focus on keepin the soil moist but never wet. (2) Humidity, floral-clusters are ideal environments for mold(budrot) so keep humidity levels low. You'll know you have mold when you start seeing dark brown spots with little(tiny) white hairs.
Looks find to me.
Zooming into the second pic I see brown colored areas deep in the buds. I would take a tool of some sort and gently spread open the bud in those discolored areas to check for bud rot. If its rot you will know when you see it in there...
Bud rot is evil! What is your humidity lvl at?
It`s at 41% right now. I did also see the area you mentioned in towards the center more. From what I can tell looks like some red hairs clustered together. I hope. Just can`t get myself to prod quite yet. THANKS for all the input very much appreciated.
If your talking about the area you have circled, you got no problems. It looks like you said, pistils clustered real tight. :cool:
