Just wondering if i need to be wondering about FLIR..?
Im doing a closet grow consisting of a 270W HPS & a 90W UFO LED.
Not too worried about the LED since it literally, barely puts off any heat.
BUT, my HPS is what im concerned with.
I know it isn't as bad as a 400, 600, or 1000, but for those with real experience please share... much appreciated:thumbsup:
My closest space is 4x4x10.
I have an oscillating fan up top on a shelf.
And leave the closet door about 3-4 inches open.
If you haven't read "How to not get busted", go to the lounge section of this forum and go to All the books you could ever want and download it, then read.
It's in there with the rest of the books. Also, lot's of videos on this subject on youtube, study them.
Doesn't seem likely they'll be looking for your 270W light with FLIR equipped helicopters..

hell no you got nothing to worry about except your own mouth and who else knows. in order to legally use flirs they need a warrant and if its that far along theyve already built a case. hope that helps.Quote:

flir will show a general heat glow ,not a shape as a light hood. on a fly by.space heaters, dryer vents ,etc will look like lights, now if your using 40-1000watt metal halide in a small house and it glows like a nuke plant i'ld worry. use insulation on hoods.a filter and recycle the heat to your home.or use chimney.look normal.
