Aloha!
I have recently taken up the mantle of "caretaker" and am planning on growing three plants on my balcony in Hawaii (oahu). Are there any books that you can recommend that discuss growing a small batch outdoors in tropical climates (or Hawaii) in the out of doors?
If not books, then websites that discuss this specifically?

You are already here my friend. I watched a guy who has a few patients he grow a years worth for them. I can post the link, but if you look in the Grow Log section its on top called ''Another Crappy day in Paradise'', but part 1 is over, but is the most important. After reading that thread you will know how to grow there and in his part 2 log, im sure he will give you the proper dates to start there. But im sure its in the first thread. Its a great read, not only to learn from, but very entertaining and is hard to stop before reading the whole thing in one sitting. And his current thread is all about the ''short season'' he calls it. A 3 month harvest. But this gets him ready for the longer season, which can yield a lot once you have mastered the basics. But that would stand for anyone:thumbsup:
