how much bigger will my plant grow?
im growing an outdoor plant and its been growing since mid september, i know this is late to start up an outdoor plant but its my first one and im just testing it out(yes im a novice).. my plant is about 8 inches tall and started flowering 2 weeks ago (i know this is small) however i still think its in the pre flower state. my plant gets direct sunlight from when the sun comes up about 6:30am till around 4, and indirect sunlight from 4 till the sun goes down about 6:30 pm. just wondering if the indirect sun will still keep my plant photosynthesizing? but besides that what i really wanna find out is how much bigger will the plant get before its ready to harvest? im scared that being that its so short it wont grow much taller nor produce much of the finished product. if anybody can give me feedback it would be much appreciated, thanks!
ps. i started my plant indoors w/o lightbulbs. its been like that in a small starter pot and for about 3 weeks and by a window for light, which is why i think its so short, and i transplanted it to a bigger pot and put it outside and its been so for about a month, in that month its growth sped up rapidly, from about 2 inches to 8 inches (a lot faster then it was doing indoors) im not using any fertelizers but doing it all organic (decomposing fruit and trimmings in the soil and adding worms to the soil) i hope this information will help.

Well im not sure where ya live, but one good frost and she's dead. It would grow around a 1/3 bigger, but if its as cold as it is here, you will be lucky to get anything. If you could get some cfl's and bring it in, im sure it would get bigger and a yield.

i live in hawaii on the island of oahu. it never snows here.. i also live on the top part of a mountain and my back yard is pretty much forest. i heard that plants like higher altitude and the forest type enviornment. im not too sure on that one though?! the whether right now however has been raining off and on for the past few weeks (just off and on, NOT storming)which takes a lot or work off of my part being that i dont have to water the plant myself, by the time the soil dries up a little drizzle starts :thumbsup: and the temp ranges between 65-80 degrees from night and day. if there is any more information that would help be a determining factor lmk! much appreciated! mahalo!
oh also, for now imma just stick with outdoors i heard the naturall sunlight helps produce stronger more dense buds. and besides that i live with my parents and my dads a babylon. LOL. but i was planning on moving out soon and when i do ill for sure get some grow lights and keep some indoors!

Ok man i cant tell jack living in that environment, but my man can who is on one of those rocks near you. But you gotta read his grow in the link below before you go asking questions, because most of what you need is in there. But as i follow his threads im thinking you might then ask your questions in his current thread. Trust me when i say when ya start reading it, its just like a Story, only laid out in a thread. I think his final yield was around 35lbs or more. He has a few patients he grows for and grew a years worth for them and some. Just tell em LSY sent ya as your both in the same climate and all, hes a good dude and im sure he would let ya know a few secrets of the way to grow there. He does re vegs like i did in my thread in here. But with the temps the way they are he is able to harvest a plant, then go back and harvest 10 times the amount later in the season. There are things ya need to know about growing there that are different from where im at.
But if ya have general questions ask away, but read this thread, you will luv it, it very informative and funny as hell. The guy knows how to write for sure and when your done reading, you can read his current log as hes probably doing the same as you should be doing. But i know hes beading some seeds in that thread too.

If i were you i would read that thread over and over and grow just like he did. It was one of the best outdoor grows iv ever seen. But its going to be next year, but i would follow his current log so you know when the long grow will be and then the new thread, with it being a short season grow. But if ya got any grow questions il be glad to help. Just keep your log up here with pics of your progress, which will draw more peeps in here to help ya out.

guarantee. he sent me to his new thread, ive been reading his posts. i got 2 seeds that ill be planting after this years done. as for pics, i wont be posting any of my current plant being that there are only gonna be about 6-8 weeks left till harvest. however ill be posting pics of the new ones to come, and hopefully it will be a better grow. other then that ive been reading books on the topic and have more of an understanding of how to to grow for best results, but i know ill still be having questions as the growing continues. and ill be sure to let you know and ask on the other thread post!

Man if you look at his thread he told you to get them in the ground now and get your hands on as many as you can. This guy has been doing this a long time there and there isn't a book you could find that could teach you how to grow there. If you read the thread i listed, i would be pretty pumped as to what you can do on the rock you live on. Plants that pull 6-7lbs arnt something you see around my neck of the woods. If you read my thread one this page you will see the re vegged plants i grew out is how he grows, only 4x the yield i got. But he can, and would show you id think as he's a cool dude with a knowledge of growing the re veg's. Man i was amazed with his first thread and while doing my re vegs for the first time, helped me a bunch.
But, you need to check out Rusty's thread on the re veg's. Man its the best method to grow there, you should concentrate on learning how to do this. Once you have it down, you could plant less plants, yet have bigger yields. But Rusty taught me how to re veg a plant, which is to grow a plant out, harvest the buds and then re grow it again, which produces 5 times more yield. And where you live ya start em in a small pot. Get them around 2'-3' tall, then put them in a good place in the ground. They grow, bud, then re grow. And when ya get good, ya get 5-6 lbs a plant after the re grow or re veg:thumbsup:
Well man i have a couple books too, but they give you very little of what this site does to teach you the best way to grow in your climate. And those two people can teach ya how to do it the best IMHO:D You know what you could do, if you read the thread, but its up to you if you want to learn from the best id start with Rusty's thread on re vegging a plant. Then get all the info from Oldhaole as i could, because hes experienced and knows what he's doing. Genral stuff, im sure everyone on the site would help, its a great bunch of people enjoying a hobby we all luv:hippy:
