New Mexico has made a fee proposal for producers that is quite outrageous.
I am gathering information from other mmj states about your fees and taxes.
Here are the proposed 'fees'.
$1000 application
$5000 1 year renewal
$10,000 more than 1 year
$20,000 more than 2 years
$30,000 more than 3 years.
Please share the fees for your state.
I will compile the answers and post them here as well as present them to the DOH in New Mexico.

We don't have producer fees. We have the MMJ card which is, I think we pay $200 for the first year, which includes the doctor visit.
The second year it is a bit less, like $175 cause the doctor visit is a follow up, not like an initial visit.
Those are crazy prices!
Let me get this right. Do you have licensed producers?
no we have "caregivers", and you need card for that.
You grow for a specific patient and need to apply/pay for that.
The card authorizes only the patient or authorized caregiver to grow.
yea medical marijuana dispensary as of nov 2010 are still illegal here. :( chris

So tell me, if you have patients and caregivers growing do you feel people are getting their needs met from each other? What would be the advantage of having a dispensary over your current law?
medical marijuana dispensaries in hawaii would be a major advantage, not so mutch for people like me who have, the grow set up already, after SOME TIME, but for the people who dont have the time, dont want to, because of hasstle/controversy, or whatever the reason, could still get there meds. Also it would be good for visiting patients from out of state, due to are current state law in hawaii, I had a med paitient from mainland, contact me the other day to see if he could score, so meds off me. But due to it being illegal to sell EVEN to state licensed medical marijuana users, I could not get him his meds :( due to a recent raid. And he was fourced to hit the street, Way dangerous, and its allready in some areas $400 an ounce here so expect to pay double for street weed. So if hawaii had a dispensaries, we would have been makeing tax on the sell of that med users meds, extreamly safer, also it would make more tourist come, I dont know about you but im not paying to go on a vacation ANYWHERE enless, I am guaranteed to have meds with me, or redaly available. And me being originally from northern california were you can have one script, and have up to 99 plants, the whole hawaii, no dispensarie's, thing seems kinda silly, but at least we are allowed 7 plants per card, in LA california you can only have 6 per card. But there is dispensarie's/clones/seeds/pot colleges EVERYWHERE so most people dont grow. They dont have to when can take a short walk down the street show your card get your meds in less than 2 mins and your out back to your day WHAT A STATE :),,,,,,chris:thumbsup:
