Does my soil need nutrients?
Hi guys, this is my first post. I tried the search but there wasnt anything specific to my situation.
I purchased miracle grow vegetable soil mix from ace. On the back of the bag it says add nutrients after three months. But (my bad) its supposed to be a additive to in ground soil, and i have it indoors in a pot. At the bottom of the pot, theres a paper towel which has been turning more and more brownish. I think that might be nutrients leaking out.
The plant does not seem nutrient deficient, but she's my first and i wanna do right by her.
So, do I go with what the bag says and wait three months to add nutrients, or do i add them now? Thanks.

It's better to go by what the plants say rather than the bag. When the bottom leaves are fading into a yellow color and the plants are no longer a nice dark green is when they are ready or over due.

Alright thanks, i'll follow the plant. just a little nervous the first time through.
Is there any sort of photo resource that has pictures of malnourished plants for reference? i havent found anything detailed on the web.
