anyone know what to do? where I am.. its cold wet and ugly all winter/spring/fall.. so I'm going to be growing in an old root cellar underground.. Needless to say there are no window's to open.. and it's too damn cold to move my plants outside if the lights go out..
would putting a couple of car batteries down there as an auxiliary setup work? I know very little about electrical.. but I imagine I could at least get a few hours of light in, which might hold them over if they're flowering..
would the plants be able to make it through a few days of total darkness? or would I be better off moving them outside in the "heat of the day" for a few hours.. Temps will likely be between 30- 65F' when the power stands a chance of going out.. If I move them into the house, it would at least be warm.. and there might be some light coming through the windows.. but, I doubt it would be near enough..
