EZ Clone first time Question
This is my first grow and I would like to know if this looks right. My cuttings have been in the ez cloner for 6 days, I dont see any roots starting yet but they still look green. Could someone look at the pics and let me know if this looks normal?

Well, they don't look good, but you probably know that. A lot depends on how healthy they are/were when first cut from the mother.
I doubt if you will get much in the way of roots.
When cut they should be dark green, and should not deteriorate they way yours look. I think its time to consider starting over.

Where do you think I went wrong? I took the clippings from a friends house about 20 minutes away from my house. I clipped them and placed them in a cup of water for the ride. When I got home I recut the bottoms at a 45, trimmed the leaves and dipped the bottoms in Clonex. Im using Roots Excelurator for my water solution. I am using a Grow Panel 45 LED @ 4 inches from the tops. The room is at 72deg with a humidity level of 76%.
EZ Clone first time Question
Ok this is not help but Im curious, Why clip the leaves?
I only ask cause Im gonna be cloning soon, no EZ Cloner for me though, just soil.

If the clones were healthy when you cut them, and your temperature of the water is in the low 70's, I would say your root accelerator is probably the culprit. When you cut a clone you are causing a wound where you cut it. When you put chemicals in the water, its like putting acid to the wound. So, do NOT putting any additives into the water until AFTER there are some roots established that can handle them. Also make sure your water has a PH of 5.5 to 6. If you don't know about PH, look it up on this board or google it.

Well, you will have a better chance of being successful with less leaves. The problem is, a plant will work hard to provide for its leaves. When you have a lot of leaves and no roots that can support the leaves, then chances are it will not be able to do it.

OK, I went out and got myself a good digital PH meter. The level in the cloner was 7.4. I just lowered it to 5.6. Hope this fixes my problem. Do you think they may still root?

I still would not put any root enhancer until there are roots to handle them

The day after I lowered the ph the roots shot down like no ones buisness. Thay came back from what I thought was sure death. Attached are pics from the day I transeplanted and then 1 week later into veg. They seem to be doing great. I just started LST. Also a pick of my future mother.
