CA State card holder still got a ticket, what to say to the judge to beat it.

You do have a right to medicate in public in spite of whatever any hard ass cop with a corncob up his butt thinks.
While walking the dog, a cop on the other side of a wall smelled me medicating while walking down a stream side park path and gave me a ticket in spite of me being a CA State card holder. I was charged with under an ounce even though no meds were recovered. Long story not included.

Go to court with your card and recommendation in hand, tell the judge you plead not guilty, you do not wave time, and immediately say motion to dismiss based on my protections under prop 215 and SB 420 and present your card and recommendation.

The judge will look at the DA and the DA will say motion to dismiss, the judge will grant it, and you walk out scot free.
