White cotyledons
So about a week after starting to germ my first 2 plants, i decided to start 1 more. Only problem being when i noticed the root tip popped out i was a little high and forgot to presoak the soil, so i then watered it after planting it , then got paranoid afterwards that it got pushed to deep so i took it out then accidently............ long story short it got planted too deep and i lost track of it. Now a few days later it finally popped out only strange thing is that the cotyledons where white. from what ive read this means that it had to use all its chlorophyll to reach the surface. Do you guys think it will survive?
My other question is that iv got my other seeds in this coconut hulls starting plug thing that i got from a hydro shop and on the package it says that it may encourage growth of fungus that shouldnt be harmful to the plant. well over the past few days ive noticed a green discoloration on the surface of this soil and today noticed that the runoff water was also turning green. Should i be worried? Is there anything i can do for it?
Thanks a bunch in advance
