well my first cfl grow isnt going so great
i finally got 3 plants to pop through the soil BUT one stopped growing once it came out of the soil, the other looks decent has 4 leaves and only about 3/4 to 1 inch tall but awfully small for a week old, and the third plant seems to be just a stem with basically no leaves on it. temps have gotten up to 90 in the growbox but only once i twice usually it stays around 80.i am thinking about junking these plants and starting over with new seeds i get over the internet unless anyone on here thinks these plants are salvagable??i need help desperately im not quite sure what im doing wrong other than maybe the temperature but i have since fixed the problem

Hi, the plants are usually very small the first day --> second week, usually this is when the plants roots are growing.. the plant usually only have the 2 round leaves and 1 set of "real" leaves.. the plant will "explode" into green after the roots are there and hopefully repotted hehe.. so if ur doing it from seed, dont expect massive results from the first one or two weeks.. by the third, if nothing big has happened.. it prolly wont cus ur doin it wrong lolz
the one that has no leaves, is the seed still on? or is it JUST a stem and thats it??
if the seed is still on after a week of being above the soil. then carefully carefully try to remove the seed (unless anyone in here screams NOOOO) im not 100% sure!
more like 95% sure that if the seed hasnt fallen off within 5-6 days then u have to remove it urself..

What your going to want to do if the seed is stuck ontop of the seedling is keep it moist. You can take a q-tip dip it in some water and rub the q-tip on the shell. This will make the shell soft and the leafs inside should be able to break it open. If that does not work i would pinch the shell a little bit BE VERY CAREFUL not to crush the shell. Then just peel back each side of the shell with your finger nails or use some tweezers. That seemed to work for me.

try raising the humidity. Put a dome over them and mist once a day.
