i found this 12 minuite video on the internet about marijuana use and some anti drug campaign. i knew that marijuana was illigal in the us but not that much that videos with lies like thses will be made, at least in malta i didnt find one single lie in anti drug campaigns

btw plese exuse my bad english... (im maltese i have a good excuse lol)

it says it has 5 facts:

1) marijuana is addictive
i dont think so, i dont smoke marijuana a lot neither cigarettes, i have some hash in my drawer which i rarely smoke only on special occasions but cigarettes are more tempting and i smoke more ciagarettes

2) marijuana is harmful as much as 4 cigarettes. maybe true but how these guys show it is completely false, they show an ad later in the video where a guy has 4 cigarettes, puts them on his desk, takes out some rolling paper, and starts to put all the tobacco in the cigarettes into the joint, man that thing will kill you, if anything it will be 20 times stronger since the joint has no filter, and after putting 4 cigarettes where is he going to put the marijuana? the damn thing wont even close haha

i ususally put 3/4 to 1 cigarette in a joint (depending on the rolling paper) mixed with hash

3) teens take more risks when under the influence of marijuana, maybe true, not sure, though it surely won't make you violent, you dont even want to wake up with the effects of marijuana

4) jeopardize you future, yes if the other people dont know that marijuana isint that bad

5)10 times stonger that before?? bullshit

and what a btch is she that woman mart anne(sorry if she's related to anyone here), apart from her making me sick, one time she contradicted herself, the clip says 3000 new users of marijuana every day and she say ant one time the statistics went doen by 50%


i also think marijuana cant be stopped forever, or stop people from smoking it, its like the church, there have been many attempts to stop it but to no avail. these anti drug people are wasting their time i think, there will alwas be sombody smoking

That is some funny shit. The lady that looked like a frog made me laugh really hard. It is just these ignorant parents that don't know the facts about the drug, and try to scare off kids from using it. I agree it does impair driving, and to an extent does lower grades, but that is just because it makes you lazy. These won't get through to kids. Because they will try it anyway and see how good weed actually is.

why do people always say that it makes you lazy?i believe that is all in your head.i smoke everyday all day,got all a's and b's in college,run a mile or two everyday(so i dont turn into a fat ass cause i do get the munchies)bud has never made me lazy.

jesus what a load of crap. I couldnt watch that whole thing. Weed is semi-addictive, yes, but VERY easy to quit. I have had to quit for jobs in the past and could easily do it again. Makes you lazy, sure it does, WHILE YOUR HIGH! After that, im back to my normal self. I work out alot and have a full time job. This vid thinks that we smoke because of pop culture. Ya right i started smoking with my friend because it was a fun thing to do, and it also pissed of parents. Im sure all the stats used in this are shit.

well yes, english is also an official language in malta (along with maltese) but we dont use it that much, only for legal document, again along with maltese, and at university all lectures are in english, whough i go to mcast (malta college of arts science and technology) which mainly caters for people who failed their o levels, and there are some courses (like mine) which are of university standard

Yeah, and those "statistics" about how many drivers in accidents tested positive for marijuana is crap too. Sure, maybe that many people had THC in their systems, but that just means they had gotten high sometime in the past several weeks, and they're trying to imply that all those people were high when they had the accident. Sure it may slow your reaction time down a little and it might not be the brightest idea for an inexperienced driver to drive high, but they're trying to associate it with phenomena like drunk driving where not only is reaction time slowed but coordination is completely fucked up.

And so what if marijuana contains 4 times as much tar causing chemicals as tobacco? TAR DOES NOT CAUSE LUNG CANCER, RADIOACTIVE TOBACCO DOES. But the media, the politicians, and their buddies the tobacco giants don't want you to know that.
