possible solutes?

was wondering if anyone knew if you can infuse sugers with cannabis. ie can i get syrup to become infused with cannabis? i want to make hard candies but all the recipes i found but one requires syrup not butter or oil to make. or is there another way to make hard or other candies? /looks hopfully over at greywolf......

I don't think you can get sugar to be infused with THC. If so, tons of people already would be doing it! However, I did find the following thread with detailed discussion about how one guy is going about making cannabis hard candies:
