ok there seems to be a problem with one northern light. friend got ahold of 5 seeds in july so we thought we would try to squeeze them in . to boost our harvest. Anyway alittle info for ya.
Ok
Grown outdoors. Plant recieves 8-10 hours of direct sun a day.
Ten gallon container shaded from sun( by lower brush and such)
Using scott premium potting soil. Have used this product for outdoor plant for years with no problems. Soil is buffered so ph runs around 6.8 constistantly. Dont think i can check run off ph. Since container is to large to pick up.I have only added 1/4 strength nutes mg bloom booster one time a few weeks ago. Thought i had a pest problem so i sprayed with organic spray( which i have used in the past with no problems).Any way Plant has rusty colored spots and new growth( what little there is) Has wierd altered leaves. I am thinking it is in the lockout stage from somthing just not sure from what. Didnt want to react till i get a proper diagnosis. Also plant is about 3 weeks into flowering. Also added 4 cups of extra perlite when i prepared soil.Water sourse is good as well ph is good. check with ph pen. was leaning towards needing some epson salt but wasnt sure. any help would be great. If you need more info just let me know....

You know it is on a dry hill that i would say is hot. But since the weather has cooled it looks much better. I am glad i didnt over react. i was wondering if all that direct sun on hard ground might be some of the problem. Even though i shaded the container.

it all depends on your experience. but there are some beginner friendly breeds. stay away from nirvanas auto's they are inconstistant.the lowryders are good to start. I also strongly suggest royal queen auto dwarf.or royal auto. Good price great yeild and good effects. they are very light dependent. with proper root space and alittle tlc. they are the best for the price. average 1/2- 1 ounce per plant.dinafem road runners are easy as well thick cola. there auto haze is another. but growing it seems alittle more tempermental then other auto's. lowlife ak auto's more money but quality yeild .remember you get what you pay for. but i must repeat and say royal queen seems to be the best deal for a auto grow. depending on how many you need.

It looks almost to me like it got burned by water droplets that (on indoor) the light caused a burn. Almost.
