How long should it take for seedlings to be visable?
Hi,
I've germinated my seeds and planted them in small containers. Now I'm wondering how often I should water them and how long it should take for them to break the surface (they were planted about an inch deep)?
Is there anything else I should be doing at this stage to help them along?

3 to 5 days is normal. Keep the temps up to 78-85 degrees. Next time...only plant them 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep...
Being deeper might slow things down?...don't let the soil compact or dry out. I keep the soil moist with a mist spray bottle.
Enjoy your grow.

Thanks, it's been just about 3 days and there's nothing yet, I've seen pics where people had visable growth after 3 days so I'm just wondering if I did something wrong

MUCH MUCH TOO DEEP unless your soil is very light.if nothing appears after day 5 or 6 you might want to gently remove some of the soil from on top of the seed using an artist paint brush or such.
