I've got a 1/2 dozen plants. I'm in southern Canada we and still have about 15 hours of daylight. The girls are starting to show hairs, and to encourage faster budding I've got this idea. I have a little shed that will hold 2 plants, and it's totally sealed and pitch black in there. If I were to put two plants at a time in there at 7pm-ish and take them out before work at 6 am-ish for a few days each, would that help getting them to bud quicker?

yeah but it comes with a cost of less yeild, and lots of other problems, just beware and do whatever you want its your plants man, but it wont kill it it might hurt it if there's alot of bugs in the shed or temps idk lol no idea of your location so cant give you a good answer but lowering the times BARELY speeds it up you might get to harvest 3 days earlier at best:(

yes it would work, if you did it consistently(thats how we do it indoors, put them in the dark for 12 hours). You would probably going to need to do it for a week or so though. If its not consistent, and you bounce the photoperiod around you can develope hermies.
In my opinion it would be the smart thing to do. I live 100 miles south of Vancouver BC and at the end of September im fighting mold and rain. The faster you get the plants to bud the better, who knows if theyre even gunna finish. Frost is even worse though.
