old time outdoor grower needing help on building a grow room

I have been an outdoor grower since the 70's- need advice on building a grow room- I have a barn loft that I plan on building an 8x10 floor plan grow room. At this moment funds are a little tight and I want to focus on the room itself- I will probably start with a 1000 watt and then expand on that:hippy: in time- My plans are to build a room 8x10 with an 8' ceiling at the lowest point.the walls will be built 6 inches thick, heavily insulated, i will also build the floor up 6 inches to insulate that. Since the room is inside a barn loft I will build the ceiling in an arch to help collect and remove the hot air. this area gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter. what is the best way to control the intake air temperature? If i grow in the winter , which is my immediate plan, the outside air could be extremly cold-how would you guys handle intake and exhaust-I will put in an airconditioner and heating on a temp controled thermostat- I know from reading that Rusty Trichrome has an 8x10 give me your input Rusty
