Big Storm Hit! Please Help!

:(So last night a storm with 60 mph plus winds whipped through, and a branch was torn from the stem. The tear couldnt have been worse, hanging on by a thread, had to cut it off and am now left with a gaping hole. The pic is blurry, but you can see the size hole it left. Will it heal this? The plant is still in vegetative state, so im hoping this wont affect the flowering. The plant was also pretty badly bent so I made a stake and tied it upright, hoping it might just work itself out, hah. I didn't know what else to do, and until I got some second party advice, I just covered it with a damp paper towel for the evening.
