Emergency Rulemaking Hearing - HB 1284

Hey there guys,

The Department of Revenue has announced that it is holding emergency rulemaking hearings on HB 1284 on August 27th on1881 Pierce Street, Lakewood CO 80214. Now, I've scoured the internet looking for who is going on that panel and I was wondering:

-Is there going to be a Panel with announced members?
-If Not, when?

Dispensaries are facing tough times ahead if the precedent is set for the DOR MMED to just start being 'absolutist' in the rulemaking process and not allowing public input. The meeting will cover the definition of 'residency' and I imagine some more clarification regarding MIPS, Patients and grows. I attended the classes they had for filling out the licenses (scrambling to get ours in lol!!) and I'm confident the members of the panel, most probably DOR will reflect some of this. However saying that, they could stonewall the industry but with whats happening in Westminster, who knows?

I will of course be attending the meetings, will anyone else be?

Any chance I could get a number and talk to you? I just have some questions regarding the industry in general, interested to hear what you/your mmc has to say.

I'm surprised many people aren't interested in this. This is going to shape the whole 'nitty gritty' side of this industry and will have huge ramifications for everyone involved in the producing and vending sides of the business. If anyone else is attending, I'll be going along and would very much like to meet others members of this board.

I dont think its that people dont have interest in what happens. Personally i think its cause your a new member as 3 or 4 days ago. I havent been a member long here either but also im not asking to meet people. People have a lot at stake and are reluctant to meet some one from a board in real life.

You could be Leo trying to get the skinny on people that post here or someone looking to rip some one off. You may be an honest person with good intentions but how do we really know that to be true. This is a hush hush world for good reasons.

People may be following the law to the T and just dont want people to put a face with what they do and then be able to follow you to your home. Home invasions for MMJ are becoming more and more the norm. You cant be too safe. Your life may depend on it.

Please dont think i am flamming you or anything just helping you understand why you wont get many responses. It takes time to build trust and in some cases it wont ever happen.
