first grow 2 cfls one speaker box a pc fan and a green crack clone

this is my first grow i dont know where to start off so here we go the other day i went to some freinds house and they had a clone they were given that they didnt want they didnt want to mess wth it due to late in the year so i took it they said it was green crack its about eh5-6 inches tall and cant be to old either



so i took an old speaker box i sealed it up and have two cfls hangin from the tob about an inch over the plants 2 pc fans i think there both small cpu fans one pointing in and one pointing out for ventilation ill take pics tommorow when i have my camera the plant is in a half of a gal milk jug ..... i have the fans wired to a power inverter and there not blowing directly on the plant so they run right the cfls have 1700 lumens a piece and have 26 on the packge idk really anyone have some suggestions....

this plant look sad ill wait a few days to see if they perk up. ...... oh and i know shitty pics

I am new to growing as well, have similar setup except mine was from seed. You should paint the inside of the box white, this will reflect light better onto your plant. I've heard some people use foil to better effect but I am not really in position to advise you to do so since I've read others complaining about the rise in temperature and creation of hot spots.

How long ago was the clone rooted? Those leaves dont look too good you been giving it nutes? My knowledge on nutes and soil is basic at best so hopefully some one who knows what they are talking about can advise you there.

no nutes! not yet, how much and often are you watering it? did you put holes on the milk jug for drainage?

what are you spraying it with? stop that!! (j/k i dont even know what it is) i think you have the wrong lights(what wou have will work but are not ideal). they look like they are lower on the kelvin scale. you want the lights that look more white for veg. it will say 5,600k on the box. then 2,700 kelvin for flower. CFL's are incredibly cheap to produce so most under 100w are VERRY similar IMO this is something that CAN be purchaced from walmart (unlike your fertilizer!!) so go spend 10$ and ghetto rig some way to put a few 6,500 lights on that poor thing. foil will only make things HOT and reflect more heat than light especially with CFL's the good light you want dosent travel verry far and is pretty weak! However they WILL work and MANY peps use them includeing me.

Water with P.H.'d H2O when the dirt gets dry, not moist but dry. it is WAY over water than under water. if you go a few days w/o water the leafs will droop, count the days and then water a day earlier next time and keep a consistant schedule.


the rest you will find by doing some reading and homework. every one will tell you that you can find all the answers in the FAQ section and that is true!! if it is not in the FAQ then there is some post from 2008 that is 9 pages long and still going on!! I find those the most informative!! also grow logs rock because you can watch progress and you get alot of tips and them recomendations you are looking for. the compliments are nice also!!

ya i havent used nutes i dont want to kill it. maybe i do need some better lights post a pic of some cheap cfls ill go rig up a couple but other than waterin it when its dry i havent done anything to the poor thing. yes theres holes in the bottom for drain age

Above is an excellent series on how to build a top notch grow box. I'm just posting it for history and search purposes. I'm sorry, but it you don't have enough energy and/or attention to detail to be bothered with punctuation then you'll never be able to put a grow box together either. Maybe you can pay somebody to do it for you? Good luck.

A "?" goes at the end of a sentence that is asking a question. OK? A whole bunch of them could indicate emphasis or frustration. Understand? (rhetorical question)

so you are not spraying it with any thing? that box and your soil will retain moisture...that will make it mold so watch for that. also roots need darkness, that milk jug will have to be replaced with something dark later on. how did the plant get all those white marks on the leafs?
