Where does this sense of entitlement come from?
I was just reading about how one of the dispensaries in WA who will have a booth at hempfest, is demanding that they be able to drive around their own "RV" with an internal combustion engine around hempfest.
They want to do this so they can, rofl, shuttle people to their booth who are members of their dispensary claiming that they are legally entitled under the, again ROFL, ADA.
on what planet would it be appropriate that they be the only non emergency internal combustion engine vehicle driving around in a crowd of 100,000+ just so they can shuttle people to their booth?
Seriously, where does this sense of, "gimme gimme gimme" come from?
Where does this sense of entitlement come from?
Quit picking on Steve.lol
Where does this sense of entitlement come from?
Obviously you have no clue of what steve is doing here do you? rolmao
Steve don't want any gimme gimme gimme...steve is fighting the mmj seattle mafia so to speak and doing a great job at it...
This ain't steves 1st mmj advocate/political move rodeo..nor his last by far..the media will surely be covering the wa. mmj poster boy in full...rest assured of that...let's also not forget "D.PAUL STANFORD" is the hempfest's "SOLE" FINACIAL BACKER! When thcf put's on the portland fest, there is "electric" carts running all day and night back and forth in many areas transporting not only the "disabled" but, everyone and anyone who wants a ride.
So this ain't about no "combustion engine" but, is a great tool to make the clear point I would imagine from steve...since steve did work at thcf once upon a time and am sure he and paul don't get along...
This is gonna be good...hope he wins and they mark out clear people-less ave. for "electric" carts only...wouldn't take much to do either. paul knows how.:D

Electric scooters are what the hempfest people want and use out there.
Where does this sense of entitlement come from?
Paul Stanford the sole sponser of hempfest rented these here: OBX Beach Buggies - Street-Legal Electric Golf Cart Rentals
The white ones are the same style he had in portland 2009 fest..i rode in one;)
The dang things went full speed down the trails zig-zagging around people and even made people move out the way that was on the trails thru the park..they even had parts which was specifically designated for the carts and not people..am sure a park the size of seattle's can handle specific cart lanes only with crosswalks for the non-disabled.
Let remember also that hempfest was not designed for the disabled nor is their business plan designed for it either...regardless of what they claim. 17 yrs ago, medical marijuana didn't exist...but, the push to "legalize" and spread the word world wide...in otherwords "POLITICALLY" motivated...and still is to this day.!!

I imagine given the large number of people that attend hempfest, they'd prefer the personal scooter model to the mutli person gold cart, even if electric.
but maybe im wrong.
the best way would be to contact hempfest with lots of lead time and get their input on what sort of help they are most open to.

we're a week from hempfest not a year, and the vehicle the dispensary wants to bring is not a single occupancy electric scooter.
but other than that!

Guess steve is making a point that he posed the question last year..and got back-burned this year again...my concern with the vehicle would be gas-combustion engine exhaust in the crowds...other than that, i guess they push the wrong button maybe??:D

well posing the question is far from following the proper channels of the event organizers.
The people who throw hempfest have hundreds of thousands of people to deal with, if every person was allowed to bring in whatever equipment they wanted the event would be a disaster.
