Are you supposed to dilute Clonex rooting gel?

It doesn't say anything about diluting it on the instructions so I just assumed you dipped the cutting into the tub of clonex. I've not used it on cannabis but I used it on some kiwi plants a while back and the stems turned to mush as if the gel was too concentrated or something. It wasn't an environment problem because I used the same method of cloning I always use, it only went wrong when I used the clonex.

I'm not seeing any online product information that says anything about diluting...maybe you dipped the clipping too far down...everything online is just saying to dip it in the gel...

Yup; you just dip the tip into the cloning gel is all there is to it. A good anit-wilt spray works very good and keeps the leaf and stems moist so the clone has a chance to root.
