Hello All, I bought some blackberry seeds through a reputable seed dealer, I germinated and grew 2 of the seeds that I received and have one very tall plant (3') and the other is shorter (2' and bushier):wtf:
do you think I was duped? or can the same strain (different seeds) produce both tall and short plants? very new to this! thanks.
Different pheno-types. I dono about BlackBerry but a ton of strains have multiple phenotypes...for example...pheno 1...Tall, skinny but super potent and beatiful color...pheno 2...short, bushy, nice potency, less color, more yield....etc etc....you can always contact them and ask...maybe there's a bunch...as far as I know...strains like blueberry have infinite phenotypes and other strains have a few...Killing Fields is another...there's lime green phenos and all purple phenos...not just temp tricks...just my 2 cents...
