Want to make weed legal? Vote locally!

Honestly, I hear too many people complaining about how weed should be legal, and yes I agree, it should be. But what people don't understand is that the federal government won't do shit about it. Federal tax is a bunch of bull shit! State tax is for the people (IRS Sucks). This article may get a little dry, but if your passionate about Marry Jane, then I think you can do it, so getting to my point:

Put yourself out there and run for local office. Civic offices come up for re-election all the time. Find a position you know you could excel in and start your campaign. Call your local political party and ask if there are offices up for election. Take to the streets and let people know you are the person for the job.

Please, don't go and protest, that will not do anything but piss people off and then keep it illegal for the lolz. I know quite a bit of you people on here are medical marijuana users, and really don't need to do anything, but show SOME motivation.

And please, what ever you do, don't say you can just tax it, and the state of the economy will magically be better. Present ideas, like being able to employ more firefighters, advance medical technology for hospitals, fund Universities and further advance studies, things that will actually benefit you.

Tip Numba 3: Use the media to your advantage! (Internet, News Papers, Television)

Now, advertisements and articles are kind of expensive, but cause enough ruckus, and get enough attention and you'll get all the articles and commercials you can ask for.

Tell them how it doesn't really kill brain cells and make you stupid. But most importantly, how there is no recorded death due to marijuana...
