Basic question. Can I keep mothers and clones on the same lite cycle using CFL's?
Yes.
As far as I've read you can even root clones under 12/12,... that being said, I feel that the 24/0 is best for me, I tried some under 18/6 and it didn't work as good as the 24/0
How about the mothers. Can those be kept in the 24/0 lite schedule as well. To keep them in veg stage?
I'm about to give it a shot bro. As best I can tell clones and mothers will work in the same flood table and same light schedule. Mothers do not need that much light nor do they need that much nutrients to maintain their existence. Clones don't need that much nutrients either nor do they need intense light at first either. If you do make this work then you will likely want to veg your clones again for another 2 weeks after they come out of your veg room. Once your ready to put them into the flower room then veg them again for 2 more weeks before starting them on a flower schedule.
I have 3 mothers living under 5x3' T5ho's in addition to having plenty of space for another 6 or so 6" pots worth of clones. I don't have them in there now since clones really need to begin life in a bubbler first. Cuttings that have no roots don't really need anything but water for the first couple weeks, so unless you have a separate watering system, you wont be able to stick them next to the mothers right away. Figure a way to use a cloner or bubbler system for the first 2 weeks, then stick them into the system with the mothers. I would plan to do that for about 2 to 3 weeks I would guess at the most, then switch to a HPS system for another 1 to 2 weeks of veg. Most people shoot for a 4 week veg, then a 8-12 week flower.
