I am doing research to see if there is a need for reasonably priced systems electronic control systems that are scalable and can do the following...(I am not trying to sell anything at the moment, just doing research and testing the waters)

- Measure anything (moisture, temp,humidity, ph, co2, light etc)
- Control anything (lights, co2, water, nutrients etc)
- Provide audio or visual surveillance, alarm sensors
- Transmit the information via the internet, phone/pager (gsm chip)

I can build a compact modular system that can do any of these things based on custom needs. So if you just want something that lets you know that someone entered your grow room, it can text/page or email you. If you want to have a secure login to see readings or control things, you can have it. You can also automate/schedule processes Would people be interested in any of these things? Should I make some prototypes? What would be the most popular needs for the average grower?
