need help people..

hello everybody
my plant is 2 weeks old. Meanwhile, i got only the first couple of leafs as you can see in the pictures and two other leafs .
First of all it's natural that way after two weeks? or the plant is missing something to grow like it should?
Plant receives direct sunlight for 10-9 hours a day and at night i take it home.
and i just make sure that the soil is always alittle wet.
hey maybe you have some kind of dirty deal for irrigation so that one can leave the plant a week or two alone?
Last question - I've included a picture of the root in a glass - note the color of the edge, is it natural or is it exposure to the sun?
Because I just wrap the cup cover to prevent possible exposure of roots to the sun.
and look on the difrences between the first two leafs and the two younger leafs. the olders look like almost dien now. any segestions? btw its now 18 days old..
