2nd Ebb and Flo Grow getting crowded. Start flower at week 5?

This is my 2nd ebb and flow with 3 x 3 foot tray. 5" pots that hang in insert that has 25 holes. 1st grow came out 1/2 lb bud. 1st grow I transplanted from smaller chamber with 2 inch pots with hydroton into 5 inch pots with hydroton into tent. 400 watt HPS. Using Latewoods Legacy with Floralicious Plus.
I think the transplanting really stunted growth cause they are about 2 weeks ahead of my old crop. Last crop 7 females flowered after 7 weeks harvested at week 16. It looks like I may run out of vertical room for this grow and I need to sex em so I can thin, I have 12 plants now (5 white widow and the rest ROM x CC- not sure what those are really)
Question is.. should I change light cycle now so I can pull males before they get much bigger?

Yup time to flower!! Gonna be awful crowded in there :D

Im thinking it may be more productive to move to an ebb and flow bucket system, I could get 9 5 gallon buckets in the grow tent. It would spread them out some and give me more vertical grow space.

Keep in mind that you need some room to get in there and tend to plants. Your tent looks to be about the size of mine and I do 4 5gal buckets DWC in there and at the end I'm glad it was only 4.
