Flowering With Metal Halide
Now after a long debate, i have run an experiment. I took to white widow plants and set one in one room with a 600 watt hps and the other in another room with a 600 watt metal halide flowered both for 65 days. The Results of this was Very interesting the metal halide produced some very tight thick buds and very potent smoke. The High pressure sodium 600watt produced great buds too nice and fluffy but not as tight as the metal halide. So my conclusion of this is.......
USE BOTH WHEN FLOWERING THERE BOTH GREAT HID LIGHTS I PREFER TO USE METAL HAILED FOR BOTH STAGES OF LIFE BUT I THINK WITH THE ADDITION OF USING BOTH HIDS FOR FLOWERING IT WILL PRODUCE TIGHT ROUND THICK BUDS WITH THE AROMA OF CANDY TRY IT.:pimp::pimp::pimp::pimp:
I HAVE BEEN READING THE GROWERS BIBLE AND HAVE RUN MANY MANY EXPERIMENTS AND HAVE A LIBRARY OF GROWERS BOOKS AND DVDS AT MY USE :D

wow. i always heard to stay away from the halides. might have to throw a couple into my next grow. got any pics?

i have a couple but my desktop is having issues rrrrr, but what i can also tell ya metal hailed are a blue specturn thuse adding a busher bud when this happends it tightens up because of the lack of room in the devolping flower, then throw in a hps and bam u have one hell of a flower!!!

thanks for the info, asof now I am running two 1000watt one metal other hps one week of veg for some purple kush, OG cant wait for results.:stoned:

I agree...:thumbsup:.. metal halides are underrated....I use a 400 CMH bulb (Ceramic Metal Halide)...the best of both worlds..MH/HPS=CMH
