that's crazy.
it kinda looks like roots?
That sure does look like roots.
Why not try air-layering and see.
Slap a moist ball of dirt on 'er an hold it on with an old nylon stocking.
If da roots grow, bingo!
Aloha,
Weezard
thanks for the reply
i'm hopeing that it not some type of parasite(mistletoe etc..) that has attached itself to my girl & I'm wondering if it will spread to my other girls..
thanks!

Not too often someone shows up around here with something new, but I've never seen that one before. It looks exactly like roots on a fresh cutting, crazy man.
Can you give us any other specs? How old is the plant? From seed I'm assuming? Have you tried to clone it, (i would have to imagine it would root easily:))? Was the bottom of the plant so thick that the stem was left in near darkness? Anything to deduce the reason it happened would be cool.
Very interesting specimen you have there either way:thumbsup:
Just saw your post, I would have to imagine if it were some kind of parasite you would most definitely see some kind of adverse reaction from the plant. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
you aren't growing under a willow tree are ya?
hello
all the plants i have are clones from a seed purchase i did 4 yrs ago...
they are in pots.... i have always use miracle-gro soil & food...
this arjan haze plant was cloned 10-09 so i could grow this year...
i keep them small in the house during the winter, in s.e.tex. its not to long of a winter.
thanks

A very likely possibility....hmmmm... I suppose anywhere near a willow could amp up the rooting hormones in the plant. Interesting idea!Quote:
