Need Help with sick plants.. pic! and form!

OK SO YEA IF YOU SEE I NEED HELP I DID FEED THEM ONE THE GROW BIG WHICH IS 6-4-4 AND FOUND PH WAS REALLY LOW SO I WENT BACK TO REGULAR TAP WITH ADJUSTED PH (USED VINEGAR).. SO I HAVE CHANGED ALL THE SOIL YESTERDAY AND TRIED THE BABY PURE WATER AND ANOTHER WITH ADJUSTED TAP WITH VINEGAR TO SEE WHICH IS MORE EFFECTIVE..

but my haze dont seem to grow leaves properly the are skinny and curled and i need help before its too late, anyone!!! i am starting 4 white widow but want to try to save these.. the smaller plants seem to be stunned and dont grow either but all have skinny new curled leaves look at pic thanks

all the new leaves are growing really skinny and thin and the first to leaves that come out are now turning sort of light brown from the tip toward the inside

Hmm, well theyre definitely too young for the grow big. I would guess it is too hot in there. The CFLs dont seem necessary with the HPS in there. Although not as good as the MH for veg, the HPS works. My MH bulb actually just died, and I am vegging five plants each at one foot. Also, an exhaust is probably the most important aspect of circulation. It also seems that your pH has had some fluxuation. Try to keep in regularly between 6.2-6.8

Ummm...what's baby water? More importantly...what's the difference between good baby water and bad baby water...? (sorry...bored and manic, I guess)

Looks like overnute. (too early in development) Might want to flush it with properly ph'd water. (1 gallon of water for every gallon of pot size will do. No sense in going overboard being as how there's still nutrients in the Ocean Forest already. FF Ocean Forest has the necessary nutrients for the first month to 6 weeks before you should begin with the additional nutes. (half doses for first week or two...watch for response) After they acclimate to the nutrients, should be ok to follow the weekly feeding schedule.

Very Important:
Check the FF website for the weekly feeding schedules. I keep one printed out in case I somehow forget the schedule. (Just kidding, I've been using Fox Farms for years) I wouldn't try the FF soluables until you know what you're doing and why you're doing it though. Powerful stuff, lots of death if misused.
The Grow Big and the Tiger Bloom each have micronutrients. The Big Bloom is a catalyst tea formulated to work with both.

When you do start feeding them, adjust the water to the high end (6.8 or 6.9ish) of acceptable ph, then add the nutrients. Color coded results are skewed by any change in the clear water being clear, so if the water is green or brown, (nutrients) it's misrepresenting your ph. That's why you can't ph the runoff with test strips and aquarium ph test kits.

Never let your schedules vary. Gget a timer, and keep their dark periods dark.
At this stage, I'd go with either the HID or the CFL's. Using both is overkill.
Pick a water and stick with it. Usually tap is fine, might need to let it set out if it smells like chlorine. Might need some adjusting, but it's way cheaper to adjust than to purchase water.

That should be a good start.

Well i use foxfarms grow big and big bloom as soon as the 2nd true leaves come out and its always worked for me but rule of thumb always start out with half the recommended dose then work it up to normal

Yeah...no sense in following instructions from someone that has YEARS of experience using the product successfully, and has YEARS of experience helping others through the rough spots.

Tell me...what do you think he should do about the nutrients already in the medium (soil) that he uses? FFOF has organic nutes and micro's via worm castings and guano, and adding more nutrients is a good way to kill the plants.

Next time you wish to but-in and correct someone with more experience than you...think twice, and arm yourself with the facts. This way...perhaps you won't miss something and kill another members meds for them.

As for the foxfarms soil why dont ya call them and ask them HOW MUCH IS REALLY IN THE SOIL. They recommend that you use there line of nuts with that soil becuase it has trace amounts in the soil...

And by the way i wasn't just butting in. I was simply adding an experince.

Frankly, I don't much care how much experience you claim to have, your post shows me that you have some ways to go yet.

If you pull out of your case of optical rectitis, (optical rectitis: having one's head so far up their ass, all they can see is their own shit) perhaps you'll mature as a gardener. Till then, understand...you have no street cred, and you came in here posting from your ass. But I'll admit...I love the emotion you display when confronted. Responses like yours are generally from pre-teens, or drama queens. Which is it in your case?

If you wish to continue the argument, at least start your own fucking thread, and put your uncle or father on so I can discuss this with someone with at least a modicum of maturity and perhaps some experience.

As already stated, looks like over-fert and probably some heat stress. An exhaust fan pulling air through an enclosed hood will do wonders :jointsmile:
