Spider Mites, did I get the right thing to get rid of em?
Ok, so I noticed today when I went to check on my plants, there was a small red mite looking thing running around on the leaf that looks like its missing green, MOTHER FUCKER.... You better believe I grabbed his ass and squished the fuck outta him between my fingers. Now lies the question, where there is one, there is more I am assuming... The reason I most likely got that one was from leaving the plant outside for sun on the porch (won't do that again) for natural sunlight.
So basically upon whooping his ass, I grabbed my keys and ran out to wal-mart and grabbed this, will this take care of it without harming my plant?

The reason got this was because before I ran out I read up a little bit out of panic and I saw a member on here with like 3k posts say that does the job good. It will eliminate them, and even mites that get in to the soil. Anyone with experience, please feel free to comment.
I appreciate any and all answers.

Just put that in my closet near the plants, hopefully it doesn't do anything to the plant and knocks the fuck out of those bugs.

Yep, that'll work. Hopefully thats not circulating in the air you regularly breath though.

Hell no haha, I put it in my bedroom (which I don't sleep in often) and the door is closed. I am gonna take the strip out in about a week and see what's up, I will hang on to the strip by placing it in a zip lock bag and thoroughly wash my hands with hot soapy water. :D

they work. Shoot i let 2 hang freely in an 8x8 grow room. maybe thats why the last grow was so trippy? Um maybe i shorld be more careful with them . i dont stay in the room more then the 4 hours . But do plants absorb and store that crap?

plants do not absorb the active ingredient in HS NPS....i know there is someone who can explain the science of it but basically as long as it is not in the soil for the roots to absorb it will not get in the plant...but it does kill most of the pests

The Dichlorvos in the control strip is highly volatile and will be gone within a few days of drying/curing after harvest, assuming you don't dry/cure in the same room as the strips.
As for it getting in soil and entering through the roots, the molecule is too big to freely pass through the root plasma membrane. You would need a severe wound to the roots or you would need some major ionic imbalance to force it in via osmosis.

Couple pressure washes with napalm might fix that :D
