I am just NOT used to things being as legal as they are these days.
I am going in ground with just under 90 plants outdoors. I am pretty well protected; but I have a neighbor with a big nose (in more ways than one) that I just KNOW will drop a dime on me.
I am a member of a club, and I'm growing for 15 patients of theirs (plus I have a card). My understanding is that I am legal.
Am I legal?
Should I call the Sherriff and invite them out to inspect?
Or, should I wait for them to come to me?

Why poke the bear?
You are pretty trusting of law enforcement, that isn't a good thing if you ask me.

... and actually talked to a lawyer here in my neck of the woods who is recognized as an expert in these matters.
His advice was, "Never, ever call the cops - for any reason, unless you absolutely have to. And if they show up at your property tell them that "There is no crime being committed here, I did not call you. You are on private property and I want you to leave." That is the ONLY thing to say. Repeat it over and over. Do not give permission to 'look' anywhere. Do not allow into your home. Do not answer questions, do not engage in chit chat or respond to their attempts to be friendly. Basically, stfu, and keep saying ...
"There is no crime being committed here. I did not call you. You are on private property and I want you to leave."
I'm kind of a newbie at this. And the laws have changed a lot since the last time I did a grow. I'm not used to being this 'open' about it.
Paranoid. Nervous.
