Wild Cannabis grows near my home.

Ok.So i know you will probably say "Its some one's crop dont torment/poke/steal it".But the fact is..it aint.That stuff grows in my town as far as i can remember myself and every year people go lurking near the swamp and return with crap load of that stuff.The question i want to ask is .Is that thing smokeable and is it worth it cultivating it.Ill upload some photos for you guys to judge because im not very fond of my cannabis knowledge/skills.

Looks like weed to me.....what's it smell like

how lucky is this dude, dont even have to grow it himself, just grows wild around you. they look very good, far from being able to harvest but yes i would harvest them if you know for a fact that they are not anyones personly planted stash. as being able to tell from the last pic, they are obviously a sativa dominant. just keep checking on them when you can to keep an eye on them.

Cool... I see a few males in there so the buds will be heavily seeded. Nice find though.

Generally when marijuana is growing wild its a Hemp strain (generally slim to NO THC whatsoever. It was grown quite alot in the states for rope, clothes etc.

It may look good but its generally as affective as smoking a rose bush lol

yeah man seen some males and looks like maybe a hermie to its a nice find but thats what they call ditch weed

ok so if the males pollinate the female the THC compount dissapeares and the weed gets "limp" right :D?

I explored a little more today and i found several female only bushes on the far east side of the swamp.And i have to ask if i unroot one of the females before the males seed it and plant it in my yard will it grow to be a nice stoner or not?

well it would prob be alot easier if you just chop all the males and hermies down put them in a trash bag and tie it up and take it far away from the female plants throw it away.

Now i have no idea how the weed will turn out it could turn out to be only good for making hemp or you could get really lucky and end up with some good smoke.

Very nice find man, don't go telling anyone about it - even people you think you can trust. You will wake up one day and see the DEA back there doing a little landscaping/fall cleanup, lol.

You should let it grow, you will get a nice harvest once it's ready. 100% natural is always best, especially if it is flourishing with no additional help from people.

Be careful, though you found that and that fact that you have seen people with loads of it, probably means there's a bigger field of that shit somewhere close by that does belong to someone. Probably some really big time drug dealer in your area. As a result, some seeds were prolly dropped as him and his buddies were cleaning out one or a few times, and got you a lil crop on the side..

Just be aware of whats going on and don't get yourself in to shit. Again, very nice find.

The high amount of weed in my area (heck it even grows in my yard (found one today)) is the birds fault.My lake/swamp is kind of a eco-zone and many exotic birds like Red Pelican and some other african/chinese birds i cant even prounaunce the names of are using our lake/swamp as a checkpoint.A botanist told me that those birds crap alot ot exotic plant seeds whent they come here and some of them are cannabis seeds.


As for the drug dealer thing.Yes we do have 1 but hes not realy a big time one. :D The thing is that his field is 50 kilometres away from the lake and his weed is kind of strange (seen it only 1nce).Its realy tall (over my head and im a meter and ninenty cm).It has huge heads that are purple-ish and smells sickeningly sweet.So im pretty sure the thing that grows in the swamp aint his crop xD.
