Lucky bastard...have fun in Thailand! I've always wanted to go and see an authentic Muay Thai fight.

Have a good time in Thailand!...when you get back come see us and get some bomb...we're always running different specials on facebook, craiglist etc etc.

There used to be a bar in Pattaya (Thai beach resort town) that had a ring set-up. One could pay something like $50 for a chance to get in the ring with a real Muay Thai boxer. If you could last something like 5 minutes, you won $500. Used to be a big R&R spot for US Marines. I loved sitting at the bar, and watching the Marines get their asses kicked within a minute! Hahaha! Nothing against Marines but sometimes they think their invincible (but because of the job they have to do - they have to think & have been trained to think that way).

Still it's funny to watch a 5'4" scrawny little Thai guy go up against a 6"+ jarhead monster and kick the jarhead's ass, with a smile. Of course the Marines buddies would give the poor jarhead a hard time. I usually would send a cold beer over to help soothe his bruises.
