Why dont you just use the 600W HPS the entire time?
iv heard it is much better to start them with something not quite as powerful, and it would be a waste of electric if the two 36w bulbs would work
2 36w? i dont think 72 watts would be ok for vegging. i guess you should use hps the whole time. it is "better" to use mh for vegging but who cares man
and how many plants do u have anyway??
i am gona grow about 10 and half should be females
If you are gonna grow 10 plants then I dont care what kind of lights they are, 72W is nowhere close to enough. Not only is it not strong enough, but it wont be able to cover the area that 10 plants take up... you are gonna end up doing more damage to your plants than good. Just go with the HPS, the electrictical bill wont be THAT much higher... you won't get squat if you use 76w.
i dont have an hps light ( witch i wish i could spring for one ) but what i do is use high powered compact floros to vegg with...then put them under the mh for flowering
u have hps so thats the best light for flowering...or so its been said...
Dude it's a proven fact not just an novel thought. Mh will take longer to flower and will not produce the same amount of THC as HPS will....FACT.Quote:
