MMJ for Out-of-State Resident: Possible?
Hi guys. I'm not familiar with CO MMJ regulations so I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out. I'm in awe of the forward-thinking mentality of the voters of your state. I live out of the state (Texas) most of the year, but spend summers in the CO Rockies. Is there any way to acquire MMJ without CO residency? Can I still apply? What if I were to switch residency temporarily -- is there some kind of waiting period?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ya sure can, Tex...
When I went to the doctor with my records, the 18 year old next to me was a resident of New Jersey that was a student at CU. They said there wasn't any problem and he saw the doctor after me.
The thing is, that was a mere 4 months ago. I have no idea if it's changed
Until someone jumps in with definitive fact, I'll assume the law is still the same

You would need an out of state ID and any one of the following:
Work Identification/paycheck stub/W-2
Utility bill, medical/insurance bill or cable bill.
The above items must show a Colorado residence
Your address on the MMR application would need to reflect residency as well.

Thanks guys. That is promising. Better than I expected, but a little trickier than I hoped. I guess I could offer to buy my friends cable for the summer. :D

I used a P.O. box for my address, although I did have a CO driver's license.
