The White House even offered Specter's competitor a Kushy job NOT to run....uh-oh.....great night last night!!!!!
i could care less about Specter, but the only actual election last night went to the democrats. the rest were just primaries...
in a pennsylvania district that went to mccain in '08 a democrat won the special election to replace murtha who died while still holding office. that doesn't sound like a bad night for Obama.
now in your defense and what i think you are trying to say: there does seem to be a movement to get rid of incumbents, but last night were just primaries.
when it comes to the general election new democrats may just replace incumbent democrats. again that would not be a defeat for Obama...
let me ask you why someone like you who belongs to a cannabis forum would support a political party that is anti-legalization, pro-DEA and big time supporters of the WAR ON DRUGS. i am curious about that....
Ummmmm, i SADLY voted for Obama. Suckered. I don't vote republican either friend. Of course the Dem won to take Murtha's seat......just like the NY-23 election a few months ago....it was the LOCAL issues in that district that won the day.
Im sorry, but its my belief that the larger portion of the Democrat party are entitlement socialists trapped in the 60's with their bizarre fascination with communism and race and now apparently salt and what we eat. And this is a CENTER- right nation.....not center left.....therefore the Dems are gonna get slaughtered in November. Maybe Im wrong.....alot can happen between now and then no doubt. I think the vast majority of america now see Obama as a big government borderrline socialist. His foreign policies have been a TOTAL failure in regards to Iran and unemployment is still hovering at 10% with no end in sight.......I know Obama isnt a miracle worker....but so far the dudes been a total flop and embarrassment internationally.
I'll be voting with whoever represents shrinking the Federal Govt, de-funding in subcommittee's as many parts of laughable Obamacare as possible, stritcly enforcing our border laws and battling islamic consevative radicals anywhere they attempt to slither. Without reading them fuckin Miranda rights lol.

i wish we had an amendment to balance the federal budget. i am very disappointed with the spending of this administration/congress. i am also very disappointed we are still in iraq.
i agree unemployment is still high, but the financial markets are recovering so eventually jobs will follow.
as far as obamacare, the issue i have with it, is it still involves insurance companies. i would take them out of the mix and prices would drop overnight...
at least obama has told the DEA to stand down against medical users.
as long as those islamic radical terrorists are not american citizens i can go with you on the miranda rights, if they are citizens i can't accept that... the govt could do the same to you or i someday for a different reason. i see a deterioration and loss of rights since 9/11 and i am not impressed.
i do not support the patriot act and thought almost everything bush did was borderline illegal.
as far as how the world portrays us, i would venture to say they respect us a lot more without bush... bush was the embarrassment and the world rejoiced when obama won. i have seen nothing out of the world news that would disagree with obama now.
i would love to have a strong libertarian party in this country, because in my opinion the dems and repubs are pretty much two different branches of the same party.
they both spend like drunken sailors, they are both bought and paid for by corporate/industry lobbyists. and they both for the most part ignore the people.
sad but true. :(
