Where are all stories of police busting meth labs?
Officer 1: Hey Jerry, i just saw a wigged out crew of people with sores all over their faces run out of that house that just blew up.
Jerry Peters (North Metro Drug Task Force Commander and huge asshole): Shut up Bill, i am trying to shake down this medical marijuana loser stoner "patient" and put this legitimate, tax-paying dispensary out of business.
Patient: Actually, sir, i am a vice president of my construction company and i use cannabis rather than pharmaceuticals to treat my pain.
Officer 1: Shut up you asshole...you trying to resist arrest!?!...(tasers patient)
Dispensary Owner: Officers...please, i have a business license and i employ several community members while also spending the money i make locally.
Jerry Peters (asshole): Pipe down you pothead. Why do you hate the kids of this community?
Dispensary Owner: Well, actually officer, i sponsor a local youth soccer and baseball team.
Jerry Peters (asshole): I cant stand the noise coming out of your stinking pothead mouth...you are scum i am here to remove. Load this sucker up with so many charges and red tape that he is NEVER capable of contributing to this community in any way.
Officer 2: Commander Dick...i mean Peters...the meth heads just stole your unmarked suv.
Asshole Peters: Whut...huh...taser one of these potheads for that shit. What is meth again?

arresting people with addictions solves nothing and helps nobody...
but it sure is interesting that we've not heard about meth lab busts much at all since last fall when dispensaries started opening like crazy...

In my travels I've talked to several cops across the country and most would agree, they would rather deal with a pothead, then a meth/heroin/crack junkie. Potheads might not always be the best smelling or the brightest people but they don't usually resist arrest, put up a fight or get violent.
