Edibles Experiences

Has anyone tried edibles yet? How effective are they?

I have had edibles many times over the years but homemade.
After talking to friends in California the best advice is to follow the dosage recommended.
Everyone reacts differently as to effect and how long it takes to come on.

I've eaten some, never did much for me. Was in a way like the drug marinol but more of an overall slight body stoned feeling, I like doing it the traditional way myself, my 9mm bong.
